"When I was in architecture school, an instructor kept saying, “Consider the site!” No matter our questions, her message was the same. We had to figure out what that meant: taking into account light, wind, views, terrain, traffic, transit, proximity to emergency services, and more.
Sometimes these factors shape the design; sometimes you have to work with the constraints you’re given. But on every project, we always consider them and use them to the greatest extent possible. That’s how we approach every project—grounded in reality, attentive to context, and focused on solutions that actually work."
